Come join us for a weekend of Music, Food and Fun as we celebrate Polish heritage! The three-day festival will feature live music (Polka, Polish dance music, and your favorite local cover bands), traditional Polish dancers, carnival rides for all ages, and of course Polish food and beer!

Last year’s inaugural festival drew over 37,000 people and this year is going to be even larger! A highlight of the 2011 Southside Polish Fest was the Chicago’s Original Pierogi Eating Contest. John Pawinski beat out a field of nine eager and motivated contestants to become the contest’s very first champion. He achieved this milestone by besting his opponents by eating 30 pierogis in five minutes. This year’s Fest will once again feather this rest of intestinal fortitude!
